Drive for crusher rotor by Halbach & Braun

Pickdrum crusher with drive The crusher rotor is driven by a very solid mining-gearbox, which is designed to stand torque shock loads.

For the fast rotating impact crushers with small ratio there is an alternative, V-belt drive.

Advantage is the narrow width of the whole crusher and the elasticity of the belts, which absorb some amount of vibrations in the drive.
