HB-Trac Haulage Systems

The HB-Trac haulage system is highly reliable because the HB-Trac chain operates with a constant pitch for the winch sprocket of the shearer. The sloping angle of the line-pans do not effect the pitch, like other systems. The horizontal articulation is therefore higher and the snake of the conveyor is shorter, meaning a higher average mining speed.

The HB-Trac chain 34/45 has a breaking load of 1500 kN. The vertical link is drop forged with a 45mm width contact area.
