Chain tensioning drive

The chains from conveyors and plough installations have to be pretensioned , so that in use there will only be a little bit of slack chain. Otherwise the chain can climb in the sprocket and jump over the teeth and also there can be the problem for the chain to enter the lower race. The HB-Chain tensions offers:
  • hydraulic chain tensioning up to 400 kN in the chain
  • automatic security brake holds the tension
  • left turn and right turn operation
